One Convenient and Chargeable Card to Make Travelling in Naha and Urasoe Easy

 

OKICA is an IC Card that can be used on the Yui Rail and local buses. Eliminate having to purchase a ticket each time you travel and simply touch the card to the Card Reader to make payments easy. Recharge the card to use it over and over. A simple card that makes travelling easy.

Hold the QR code on the ticket over the center of the blue part of the ticket gate, and hold the IC card (OKICA, transportation system IC card) over the same part.

Make sure you hear a “beep” from the ticket
gate machine before you go through the ticket gate.

 

Be careful!

Please do not use an all day pass and an IC card/mobile phone together, as the QR code will not be read properly and additional charges will be deducted from the IC card/mobile phone. Only use the all day pass in that situation.

If you are going to travel around Okinawa using the Yui Rail, purchase the One Day Open Ticket or Two Day Open Ticket to save on travel expenses. The Open Ticket is valid for 24-hours (One Day) or 48-hours (Two Day) from time of purchase. Travel around Naha and check every area you are interested in seeing.
